Nintendo finally, formally took the wraps off the Nintendo Switch 2, giving us our first official look at the new Joy-Con controllers, a new Mario Kart game, and more. But the company also gave us a glimpse at how the size compares to the older Switch system.
A comparison on the official site shows the two consoles side-by-side, and sure enough, the Switch 2 looks noticeably larger, but still approximately the same size as other handheld devices like the original Switch or Steam Deck. The bezel also appears smaller, which increases the screen real estate. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount’s cutting spree began on June 24 when MTV News was deleted. The Umbrella Academy is done saving the world. After four seasons and 36 episodes, the Netflix series based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s graphic novel has come to an end. The adopted children of Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore) couldn’t keep saving the world from imploding forever and finally found a way to stop the apocalypse from happening across all of the timelines.
The cast wasn’t informed how the show would wrap up until shortly before filming the final episodes, though some of them began to suspect the general ending about halfway through shooting the fourth and final season. The ending may have felt inevitable to some of them, but it was still hard to say goodbye to these characters who have transformed their careers in more ways than one.

Civilization VII was revealed at Summer Game Fest after leaking a few hours ahead of the event. While the trailer only featured a new cinematic, it was announced that Civilization VII will be releasing in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It was confirmed during the reveal that it would be launching on both PC and consoles on the same date.
The cinematic trailer didn’t provide much of an insight into the new entry in the beloved series, but there was a tease at the end that a gameplay showcase would be coming in August.
